Daniel McLaughlin

Daniel McLaughlin is a versatile multi-instrumentalist who’s just as comfortable on bass as he is on guitar.

A graduate of USC’s Thornton School of Music, he’s performed with artists like Jaden Smith and collaborated with top brands including Fender and Apogee. His lofi project, Spaniel Mac, earns millions of monthly streams and has even been featured in Fortnite.

Daniel channels his love of groove into mentoring the next generation of bassists at Pickup Music. As a producer and educator, his teaching style is clear, encouraging, and focused on making music fun, not getting stuck in theory.
