Part II. is the real meat and potatoes of the class. This is where you'll learn how to build and invert chords, play arpeggios, and accompany yourself as a singer.

There are also lessons on advanced topics like reharmonization, transposition, and neo-soul voicings for those who are up to the challenge. Elijah wraps up this section with five easy-to-play voicings if you’re looking to quickly build out your harmonic vocabulary.

In Part III, Elijah explores how we can craft compelling bass lines, melodies, chords, and other textures to create better compositions. You’ll also learn how to make live loops in Ableton using key mapping. This will help you quickly flesh out ideas, which is an incredibly important skill as a producer/songwriter.
