In this three-part Master Class, Sarah will you through advanced exercises, techniques, and transcribed solos to develop prog-inspired tapping skills. You'll focus on shapes, sounds, and musical storytelling to learn tapping with a music-first mindset.

Two-Handed Tapping Basics

First, you'll learn how to get set up for fret-tapping success and work through exercises designed to get you tapping right away.

While guitarists in the prog genre are known for odd tunings and 7+ string guitars, this class is designed for 6-string, standard tuned guitars (to keep things accessible for all).

Tapping Tips

Once you have the fundamentals down, you'll dive into odd-meter tapping and learn two original solos from Sarah's iconic songs The Salient Voyage and First Flight.

Finally, Sarah wraps up the class by walking you through her unique approach to songwriting and production.
