John Storie
John Storie is a guitarist, vocalist, bandleader, and composer known for his work with Jeff Goldblum’s Mildred Snitzer Orchestra and as co-founder of New West Guitars. His playing has appeared on Billboard’s Jazz and Holiday charts, with collaborations including Miley Cyrus, Fiona Apple, and Gwen Stefani.
As Assistant Professor of Jazz Studies at the University of Oregon, John draws on his real-world experience to help students build genre-spanning musical careers. A global performer and educator, he brings his decades of expertise to inspire the next generation of guitarists at Pickup Music.
