Sam Blakelock
Sam is the co-founder of Pickup Music. After earning his master's degree in jazz performance and traveling the world gigging, Sam discovered a passion for teaching and started Pickup from his phone.
Word quickly spread about his approachable, step-by-step guitar lessons, and he hatched a plan – make online guitar learning fun, easy, and accessible for everyone. Cut to a few years later, and Pickup Music is a thriving learning platform comprising a global community of passionate guitarists and genre-defining artist-instructors.
Even though most of his days are spent making sure Pickup runs smoothly, Sam still routinely releases a wide variety of guitar lessons that have helped players of all levels make massive strides in their guitar playing.
