Choose your performance

Welcome to the performance section of Grade 1.

Here's how it works:

• For each song, the first video at the top of the page shows the final performance you'll learn.
• Next up, you'll find lesson breakdown videos where you can learn the song one lick at a time.
• At the bottom of each page, under "Your turn", you'll find a live-band backing track video. This is your opportunity to perform the song with the Pickup Music CAGED Band.
• Note: In the backing track video, Karl will be playing an accompaniment part to back you up while you step into the spotlight and perform the piece.

Complete at least two performance pieces before moving on to the quiz. If you'd like feedback on your playing, you can select one of those performance pieces to submit for feedback.
